If you are staying in the Botricello area...this is the only place to stay. Don't think of eating anywhere else. Luigi makes you very welcome. It's an excellent place for a relaxing stay and is convenient for the coast and the mountains. We only stayed 2 nights but we will stay at least a week next time. We will definately return.

A wonderful and romantic Agritourismo! Everything is well kept, lots of space, nice pool, perfect and spacy room. Extraordinary friendly and helpul people. Quiet.
Difficult to find, a little bit hidden. Too far from the sea.

We stayed one night at La Casa di Botro, and could easily have spent many more: this lovely, family-run agriturismo is truly a gem. The "casa" is more palazzo than farmhouse, and has clearly been lovingly restored. Upon our arrival we were greeted with one of the finer espressos on our trip throughout Calabria, which set the tone for exceptional service. We had the pleasure of enjoying their private beach, and a wide expanse of pristine sand and turquoise Mediterranean all to ourselves. Dinner is a can't-miss experience, and the breakfast was opulent and a stand-out as the best of our trip. Overall: highly recommended!
Nothing - they truly understand hospitality and we would be hard-pressed to find fault in our experience.

A very warm welcome from the hotelier - positive comments in other reviews are true. Being very low season I was one of two sets of guests but I was still treated with interest and enthusiasm - he showed a genuine interest and was waiting for me even though I arrived quite late. Mother prepared a wonderful breakfast including home cured meat jam and cake - I suspect this is even better in high season with more fresh fruits available - and a great cappucino. Room was very clean good size comfortable bed and the maid even put out fresh towels on the second day. This is better than many good hotels. A visit in summer would be recommended. Good access to Sila mountains national park and there is a sandy coastline here. Botricello is a small town with few eating places - It was a pity the restaurant was closed(understandable) in November as I am sure it would be excellent

Beautiful, tranquil environment, and a wonderful stone farmhouse, near Calabrian beaches and pleasant small towns nearby. Spacious, clean rooms, with good breakfasts and a friendly staff. We look forward to staying there again in the future.

A stay at La Casa di Botro is an experience that I would recommend to any traveler to the region. The warmth and hospitality that was extended to us during our recent stay was just extraordinary. We were treated like family and it made for a memory that will last a lifetime. Our room was beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and spacious. There was so much attention to detail in the room....right down to bottled water and herbal teas. A short walk to the Ionian Sea made for a magical marriage of sea and agriculture... love, love, love this place! Would highly recommend everything about it!
